Review: Catrice goodie Bag

Introducing the new All Matt Plus series. This is such a god sent since the Singapore weather has been very crazy lately. All that rain and heat and humidity… Oh I can continue whining… 😡

The liquid foundation comes in 4 shades and retails for SGD 12.90 @ 30ml.

What I love about this is the coverage and holding power. It gives a medium buildable coverage that looks natural and flawless ( no cakey mess of a face!). Plus, it gets better. I used this all day long and my usually oily face remained matte after 5 hours without any touch ups. ❤

The best way to set the foundation is with it’s matching shine control powder. Also comes in 4 shades and retails are such a crazy price of SGD 6.90. Seriously?!

Easy to blend and evens out skin tones without effort.

Oooooo…. I had to have these since I like my sparkle and shimmer.

It is supposed to come in 9 colors although I have only seen 6 so far in the stores. Retails SGD 7.90 each

What’s a flawless base canvas without some color? Loving the 2 blushers Catrice thoughtfully stashed in the goodie bag for us.

For a natural flushed look (sweet romantic and understated), try the blush tint for lips and cheeks.

I love to use this when I want barely there makeup or the no-makeup makeup look

One color suits all retailing at SGD 7.90

For a more intense look, try the defining powder blush. Boy oh boy was I mistaken. Thinking that it is a drugstore blusher, I happily coated my brush with the blusher and dusted it on my face. It’s so pigmented that I spent the next 5 minutes trying to remove the color and adding face powder to get it to look like I’m not fiery hot. Haha

Word of caution: please go very light handed with these blushers. Super über pigmented.

Comes in 6 shades retailing at SGD 6.90

A new favorite staple of mine is the made to stay inside eye highlighter pen. It comes in 1 nude color retailing at SGD 5.50

This is MADE specifically for the waterline which means it’s water and oil proof. It does not budge. So happy to find this. Use this to cheat your way into looking awake after a late night.

For ladies on the go, you would be happy to know that it’s retractable so no sharpening required ! 🙂

The Better than False lashes mascara is another big hit for girls who want luscious voluminous thick black whispies. The black and ultra black mascaras retail at SGD 8.90 each whilst the waterproof version retails at SGD 9.50.

Mascaras have to be changed every other month so Catrice has made it very affordable for us to keep hygienic.

The packaging makes it look expensive. *imho* haha

Before using the better than false lashes mascara, I like to put a layer of glamour doll volume waterproof mascara. It gives a unique curl to the lashes and the wand plays a very important role is depositing just the right amount of product on the lashes. Evenly coated without weighing it down.

Retails for SGD 7.90 and also comes in the non waterproof version.

I just changed the mascara packaging from the original blue to purple just because I like purple and thought its cuter haha

On to lips!!!

Pure shine color lip balm is similar to Clinique’s chubby sticks but at a fraction of the cost! It’s so buttery smooth and luxurious on the lips. Chapped lips be gone!

Comes in 8 shades retailing at SGD 9.90. It’s practical for the lady on the move. No sharpening required. Just twist for more lip balm 🙂

When I think drugstore, I don’t find myself buying a bright, pigmented fuschia lipstick. Usually the quality is not that fantastic and the color may turn patchy on you.

Lo and behold! This one pleasantly surprised me. The ultimate shine gel lip color has a moisturizing and buttery consistency like a balm yet the color intensity is like a high end brand lip product.
