Went by Watson’s Marina Square and Suntec today and realised that Maybelline have released their colour tattoo 24 hr cream gel shadow. Usual price is $15.90 but is now at an Introductory price of $12.90.
There are 8 colours: (left to right)
Tenacious Teal, Edgy Emerald, Bold Gold, Audacious Asphalt
Bad to the Bronze, Fierce & Tangy, Painted Purple, Tough as Taupe
It claims that you can use them as a base for other eyeshadows, use it as an eyeshadow on its own or as an eyeliner.
For the price that it is, you wouldn’t expect much of the colour payoff nor the durability of the product. But surprise surprise. The tattoo colours are pretty pigmented and they blend well. Also they are so difficult to rub off even with water. So get your waterproof makeup remover ready.

Asphalt, gold, emerald, teal, taupe, purple, tangy, bronze.
It seems that the rest are shimmer except for taupe, purple and tangy. The 3 are more matte which is great since you can keep the look matte with matte eyeshadow above the 3 colours or you can switch it up to be a shimmer by layering a shimmery eyeshadow on top.
Bronze is probably out of stock or stock has not arrived yet. The bronze is pretty common in my opinion as most makeup companies produce such a colour in their collection. I am particularly impressed by the teal. It is so vibrant that you would not want to put anything on top of it. It also give you the wet look when applied on its own.
Thumbs up for this… very pretty, pigmented and last the whole day as claimed.
